Track Name: I Echo (demo)
I jot it on the page and save it for the new year
You demanded change, but I just want to stay here
Until the darkness comes and swallows me entirely
But if you see a shining light distorted by the heat
It isn't real at all

I echo in the black hoping it will reach you
But it just bounces back like bats that call in vain in dark gloom
But still I gasp for air and pray it's not my fault
But could it be the one you knew was waiting all the while
For you to call

And do you sob and stare and sit there all night waiting by the phone
While I tumble away
And can you stand to spend a lonely widow's lifetime on your own
While we crumble away
Track Name: Betelgeuse (demo)
Moonlit smile, my dear, my first impression of you
I can't recall just how it was our paths had crossed
But when they did, my lease on life renewed

And I can't forget who I was
When I saw your face brightened by the stars
And I never liked my name
Until I saw it carved under yours

Moonlit smile, my love, my first impression of you
